Clinical Programs
The Department of Medicine's highly skilled physicians provide a broad range of patient care in general internal medicine and the medical subspecialties.
The primary site for clinical programs is UC Irvine Medical Center, the major tertiary and quaternary referral hospital for Orange County and the county's only university hospital. Many of the department's faculty members also are affiliated with the VA Long Beach Healthcare System and Long Beach Memorial Medical Center.
The department maintains ambulatory practice sites at the medical center in Orange and at Gottschalk Medical Plaza on the university campus in Irvine.
