The Society of Invasive Cardiac Professionals recommends periodic updates on current and new catheterization lab techniques and equipment. The UCI Health Cath Lab Essentials Program was created to further knowledge in this dynamic and changing field.

Target audience. Catheterization lab nurses and technicians, cardiovascular nurses, students, fellows in training and local community hospital physicians.
Accreditation statement. The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
Designation statement. The University of California, Irvine School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 6 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
The American Society of Radiologic Technologists (ASRT) designation. ASRT has approved this live activity for a maximum of 7 Category A Credits. Participants must complete the entire activity as designed and approved to earn the credit.
