American College of Physicians (ACP)
Straight from the ACP website: " The American College of Physicians (ACP) is a national organization of internists — physicians who specialize in the prevention, detection and treatment of illnesses in adults. ACP is the largest medical-specialty organization and second-largest physician group in the United States. Its membership of 130,000 includes internists, internal medicine subspecialists, and medical students, residents, and fellows."

Association of Amiercan Medical Colleges (AAMC) Careers in Medicine (CIM)
If you're up in the air about what specialties you're interested, are looking for more informatoin about specialties, or are completely lose and need a little direction, this website is wonderful for helping you find a little direction.

Bates' Physical Exam Videos
There are many UCI SOM students who don't know where to find the Bates' Physical Exam videos, or who thought that the videos our instructors were referring to were part videos that came with our Bates text when that's not the case. If you're prepping for CF, or are just looking to brush up on your skills you'll love this link. NOTE: If you're not on campus, you absolutely must connect via VPN in order to access these videos. See the next resource, "Virtual Private Networking (VPN) with UCI" for details.

This is a great overall resources for UCI SOM students. You'll find information about clinical rotations, UCI specific research opportunities, UCI specific residency programs, and more.

Need a place to easily store your files online so you can sleep a little easier at night when you forget to create a bakcup copy of important documents? Want to easily sync important files between computers? DropBox.com offers 2GB of online filestorage free! Of course, if 2GB isn't enough, more can be purchased.

P=MD (pequalsmd.com)
This is a forum for all UCI SOM students. It's a wonderful place to share ideas, notes, etc. It's HIGHLY recommended that you, at a minimum, visit P=MD and see what it has to offer.

Student Doctor Network (Forums)
Want to vent to peers, ask questions about your licensing examinations, chat with friends, help aspiring physicians, look for guidance from upperclassment and / or praticing physicians? This popular website provides a forum to do all that and more.

Virtual Private Networking (VPN) with UCI
Many of the schools online resources can only be accessed from outside of campus through UCI's virtual private network. All of the information and programs you need to utilize the VPN can be found here.
