Clinical

The Department of Medicine provides a broad scope of patient care activities in general internal medicine and the medical subspecialties. The primary site for our clinical program is the University of California, Irvine Medical Center, the major tertiary and quaternary referral hospital for Orange County, California. Many of the faculty members are also affiliated with the VA Long Beach Healthcare System and the Long Beach Memorial Medical Center. The department maintains ambulatory practice sites at these locations:

• Gottschalk Medical Plaza – Irvine
• UC Irvine Pavillion – Orange
